Announces the 1st Annual Orange Lake Junior Invitational Golf Tournament

ORLANDO, FLORIDA - October 13, 2005 - Orange Lake Resort & Country Club announces the 1st Annual Orange Lake Junior Invitational Golf Tournament. This event will be held at Orange Lake Resort & Country Club in Kissimmee Florida on January 6-8, 2006. The Invitational is a stroke play competition, conducted on all four of the golf courses at Orange Lake - The Legends, The Reserve, Legends Walk and Crane's Bend. The tournament is open to all male and female golfers between the ages of 5 – 19. Age groups have been implemented to ensure competitive integrity. A full field for all age brackets would equal 500 total event participants. While this inaugural event will be limited to the first 500 junior golfers that sign up – our future goals are to grow this event into an international qualifying event that will bring these regional finalists to Central Florida from around the globe. Our ultimate goal is to grow this event into the Junior World Championship - to be contested here in Central Florida at Orange Lake.
