Shingle Creek Golf Club Breaks Ground On Brad Brewer Golf Academy Player Development Studio

ORLANDO, FL (September 2004) -- Shingle Creek Golf Club, the championship David Harman-designed golf course on Universal Boulevard, has broken ground on a new Player Development Studio for the Brad Brewer Golf Academy. The golf academy will continue working out of the course’s expansive clubhouse, but will also have its own indoor learning facility when construction is complete in October.
The Brad Brewer Golf Academy’s Player Development Studio will feature state-of-the-art technology by Dartfish, which is the official video coach of the Athens Olympic games. Offerings will include advanced “swing capture and analysis” and “ball-at-impact” technology, as well as hitting bays for all-weather instruction. The Brad Brewer Golf Academy offers half-day programs, two- and three-day Academy programs, private instruction, e-coaching (long distance learning via the Internet), on-course instruction and evening golf entertainment for corporate outings, and junior and group clinics. Renowned instructor Brad Brewer is on-site at Shingle Creek Golf Club.
Shingle Creek Golf Club is located at 9939 Universal Blvd., just off of the Bee Line (S.R. 528), exit number 2. The championship course features undulating fairways and interconnecting waterways bordered by the natural backdrop of dense oaks and pines along historic Shingle Creek. The design objective is to make the course play “fair” while keeping it an exceptional “test” of golf. The challenging, yet playable, Shingle Creek Golf Club features a state-of-the-art practice facility, The Brad Brewer Golf Academy, a world-class clubhouse, golf carts with GPS yardage system, complimentary valet parking, full-service golf shop, and club and shoe rentals.
