The conditions on the course this year were not great. Pace of play was slow. We have played this course in the past and it has been in excellent condition but not this year. Still a very nice course but conditions were a little dissappointing.

We have been playing Shingle Breek for the past three or four years and have never had the experience we had this year before. We had 16 golfers and all of us had 5 hour plus rounds. Not what we expected.No rangers on the course pushing people to keep up with the group in front of them. Very disappointing. Had been a great course the last few years. we are taking it out of our rotation for next year.

With the exception of the pace of play on several holes, the round was enjoyable. We played about half the holes in strong winds, which made scoring difficult. Without the winds, the course would be great for our singles matches on the last day.
