The weather wasn't the best the day we went, it poured for a half hour, but we still got out right on time. We ended up running into some slow play, but the weather held up a tournament. The course was damp, but not too bad. Great course, great layout

2nd favorite course this year. Pace was extremely slow though. Had 2 groups immediately in front where 1st stayed to watch 2nd finish before teeing off on next hole. Ranger did nothing to stop this. Waited on almost every tee. Still love the layout.

About Legends Golf & Country Club (Clermont, FL)
The Legends is an artfully-designed layout by Clifton, Ezell & Clifton, situated 35 minutes west of Orlando in Clermont on US Hwy. 27. Carved from former citrus groves, the course boasts a multitude of rolling fairways and dramatic elevation changes, bordered by perimeter mounding - all leading to large, undulating, well-bunkered greens. Water is found on just six holes with a number of challenging doglegs. The course is most memorable for its extremely challenging par three's. Their expansive "mountain-top" driving range boasts elevation drops of 75 to 100 feet with brilliant, panoramic views of Lake Louisa in the background. The practice range was well below average but the rest of the course very nice. The practice green in no way rendered what we experienced on the course greens...they were slow and grated...not a true putt. It is still a beautiful facility and layout....challenging.
