The Cypress Course at Stonegate Golf Club at Solivita has been skillfully redesigned by Clifton, Ezell & Clifton, being fabricated into a more challenging layout than its predecessor. Fairways are gently rolling and flanked by undisturbed century-old cypress trees; all the greens have been expanded in size to feature undulations acceptable for much faster roll - some greens have now been bulk-headed for a truly spectacular visual affect. Cart paths now run the length of the course, tee to green, and water comes into play on 13 holes. Don't expect to recognize many of the new holes as this picturesque redesign will have you questioning your ability to remember what used to be! The Cypress is a unique addition to this terrific golf facility and creates a great 36-hole combination with its sister course, the Oaks. Play them both - you won't be disappointed.
