The greens were diseased around the collar. Course challenge and layout were OK. Management blamed us for slow play. Player Assistants did a poor job. Had threesomes behind 5 foursomes complaining.

Among the best courses we play on our Orlando trips. Fantastic layout and conditioning, although this time there was an issue with the greens, so they had been recently sanded and were hard to putt. Replay rate was good...around $35.

The bunkers were essentially unplayable. For a course that has so many bunkers, the sand was incredibly soft. Every shot into a bunker, weather it be with a 3 wood or sand wedge would plug essentially making it a two shot penalty. Good shots into some greens would not be rewarded as they should have been. Greens, however, were in excellent condition, as was the course itself. However, because of the bunkers, I wouldn't be rushing back to this course.

One of the nicest courses we play every year, and this year was no exception. Very scenic. Played a second round and got a fair playback. Course in top shape, good lunch, fair cart drink prices. This is our prime course. You will love So. Dunes if you haven't played it. If you have, you know what a gem it is.

All newly renovated Champion Dwarf BermudaGrass greens were added in September 2010, along with Steve Smyers' design features of imaginative bunkering and large sandy scrub areas that line dramatically rolling fairways. Best cart girl ever! Gorgeous and friendly! Fun course to play but if you don't like OB and House lined fairways this course isn't for you. Excellent greens and a challenging but fair layout. Lots of bunkers!
