Shingle Creek continues to be my favorite course in the Orlando area. Fairways and greens are impeccable. All on our trip agreed, this was the best course we played.

With the exception of the pace of play on several holes, the round was enjoyable. We played about half the holes in strong winds, which made scoring difficult. Without the winds, the course would be great for our singles matches on the last day.

For some reason the pro had allowed a group of 12 to have a shot gun start on holes 16, 17 and 18 immediately before we started. We then had to wait for them all to go thru the first before us, and even after that they were very slow. Fortunately the course was quite exceptional will helped placate us somewhat

The conditions on the course this year were not great. Pace of play was slow. We have played this course in the past and it has been in excellent condition but not this year. Still a very nice course but conditions were a little dissappointing.
