About Rio Pinar Country Club

Par: 72   Yards: 7,001   Slope: 130   USGA: 73.7

8600 El Prado Dr • Orlando, FL 32825

A charming club with old Florida history (Home of the Citrus Open), Rio Pinar boasts an impressive, challenging 7000 yards from the tips. The clean simple layout is always in great condition; it meanders through mature pines and oak trees with beautiful plant life and fauna everywhere. Unlike some of the tougher—some might say unfair—courses in the area, Rio Pinar provides a straight-up test of golf ~ a perfect choice to warm up, shake off any rust in your game on Day 1; flat terrain, little sand, little water. Originally designed in 1959 by Mark Mahannah, it was redesigned in 1995 by Lloyd Clifton, Orlando's most successful golf course architects. You'll find this historic golf club located an easy 15-minute stone's throw drive north of Orlando Int'l Airport. Complete renovation in 2013 of pro shop/ clubhouse; all brand new tees, bunkers and Champion greens... excellent choice for "First Day of Golf!"
