About Black Bear Golf Club (Eustis, FL)
P.B. Dye's links-style layout features dramatic fairway elevations, sandy waste bunkers, undulating greens, and a unique 19th-hole shootout area! Built in 1995, Dye's trademark touches create a combination of truly unique and unforgettable holes. Wide-open off the tee, the course places a premium on the golfer's short game. Water comes into play on only one hole; #18, but it's found on two other holes also. There is a massive practice facility with double-ended driving range and fantastic short game area. Black Bear has, in its short history, been host to seven US Amateur Public links events, Canadian Tour events as well as several Hooters Tour events. A great value, Black Bear is located in Eustis, 40 minutes northeast of Orlando.
